Bad news...Seinfeld's dad died

Actually...his tv dad...I have no idea if his dad is still alive or not.

Ever wonder how well my alma matter's jersey would do in a competition....

The Tribune has an answer

I returned late last night from the women's ncaa tournament in Maryland. Unfortunately DePaul lost there game against Liberty.

However, while out in D.C., had a chance to take in many of our nation's monuments. Below are a few pictures of the occasion...in 6 years of student affairs work, it was the lengthiest one on one meeting I've ever had with a staff member.

Andy has the looks...I have the brains...given the current political dynamic in the White House, I guess that makes him president and me vice-president.

Those hot dogs cost ONLY 2.00 a piece, after some handy bartering my yours truly and Andy (not really, the woman working said she'd sell us a polish dog for 2.00, instead of 2.50...Andy immediately purchased 2)

Unfortunately, the Bush twins were home, so Andy was not allowed in

Just me in the backyard of the White House

Tomb of the Unknown Solider

I'm hidden in the shadows...good job cameraman

This pretty much puts my entire weekend in perspective...write your own damn caption

Not tryin to look so serious...but behind me you see Ali's gloves, Cousy's jersey, and skates from the Miracle on Ice

Little out of sequence here...that's the Korean war memorial in the background...(that or I'm about to be attacked by zombies)

The moment that made our whole day worth it...a chance to be photographed with the puffy shirt...unfortunately, neither one of us wants to be a pirate

Giant hunk of the Berlin wall

We thought about just getting on the El here...but then realized that it would take us back to 1970

That's a really large train next to a horse's ass

I'm not sure what's worse...that I had my picture taken by the Enterprise...or that I remember the Vulcan Peace sign...(for the record I do not live in my parent's basement)

That's a Nazi plane behind Andy

The Wright Brothers next to the Wrong guys

Air and Space museum...

Hmmm...I look like I have a space capsule growing out of my head

D.C. as seen from the site of the eternal flame

Young Mr. Garvey pays his respects to the nation's 35th President.

You can't really tell...but in the background...honest to God...those people in black are crucifying that man in white...through motion and dance

OK...in fairness...he was trying to look serious here and the photographer started making fun of him...war is no laughing matter.

The statue at the Vietnam Memorial

Look..Up in the Sky!

Not sure what I'm doing here...I'm looking into the sun...and I look like I'm wearing a hairpiece

Andy had a thing for the Washington monument...

The better looking guy is the short one on the left

That's the Lincoln Memorial....there is a statue of Lincoln in it

Looks like a parking lot...actually it's the reflecting pool by the memorials...this is right before Andy was chased out of the reflecting pool (actually it was little kids...but Andy would've been next)

World War II Memorial in the background...Andy also picked up an endorsement deal with Mountain Dew

That tall thing back there...what the hell is it called again?

The beginning of a whirlwhind tour through D.C...here's Andy doing something he figured no one ever though of before

And to think...they only practiced this an hour before hand

DIBS and the cheerleaders...see if you can spot the outcasts
